Overview
Summit Matsu Chillers is quickly becoming the default chiller manufacturer for Australian industry. With the wealth of experience in manufacturing almost every part of refrigeration systems, the engineering of complex installations, and the design of quality products, there is no more qualified company in Australia to supply chillers or ancillary equipment for commercial or industrial applications.

2009 Won first order for 3 chillers to UAE Abu Dhabi for Worlds largest aluminium smelter
2008 Export partners established for Middle East, Pacific Islands, Asia
2008 Scoping study complete for Australian NATA certified testing facility
2007 Distribution agreement signed for Thermokey and Refcomp products in Australia, India, South Asia and Middle East
2007 SDA Series of chillers for air conditioning / mechanical services developed
2006 Move to larger premises in Alexandria, Sydney
2005 Began chiller rentals for emergency or planned outages using stock machines
2004 Summit Matsu Chillers formed as new venture – a specialist chiller manufacturer targeting process and industrial customers initially, and then air conditioning customers
2003 Matsu Chilling Systems formed to distribute Hitachi horizontal scroll compressors developed by Bruce Larter and Hitachi (Japan)
Previous History
Summit Refrigeration Products started in 1949 and rose to become one of the most successful refrigeration manufacturers in Australia employing over 140 people. Summit specialised in manufacturing refrigeration compressors (hermetic, semi-hermetic, belt driven) process chillers (brine, glycol, water), water chillers (air cooled, water cooled) and as an offshoot was one of the first companies in Australia to manufacture and distribute water coolers and bottled water. Summit Refrigeration Products was ISO 9001 certified and these quality procedures are used at Summit Matsu Chilling Systems.
